Commercial rooftop array · Tigard, OR · Phased install, zero downtime

Rows of commercial rooftop panels
Overview

Three roofs, one power station.

A logistics owner with three warehouses wanted energy costs under control without disrupting tenants. We surveyed all three roofs, reinforced one section of aging membrane, and tied the buildings into a single monitored system.

The challenge: active loading docks below and three different roof ages. Our approach: weekend and night lifts, ballasted racking with zero roof penetrations on the newest membrane, and per-building metering the owner can bill against.

Outcome

Daytime operations, solar-powered.

Demand charges tamed

Daytime forklift charging and HVAC now run on sunshine, flattening the expensive demand peaks.

Zero tenant disruption

All crane work happened outside operating hours. Tenants reported no interruptions across the whole build.

Portfolio dashboard

One login shows all three buildings, with quarterly reports the owner shares with investors.
